Hello and welcome to Ivy and Oak Designs! My name is Holly and I am the face behind the name. I have always had a passion for design and creating and channeled that into wood working, forming Ivy and Oak Designs in 2022. After years of working in the travel industry and the mess that was COVID19, I needed a change. I worked a part time job in the mornings and grew my business in the evenings. As sales started to increase, I was fortunate enough to be able to turn my side gig into a full time job!

I chose woodworking as a creative outlet because it is a medium that truly speaks for itself. Each board has a unique grain pattern, texture, and color – making it the ideal canvas to highlight nature’s beauty. Each piece tells a story through the materials used—whether it's wood milled from the property where I grew up, reclaimed trim from a 1900s farmhouse remodel, or scraps from other woodworkers.

My goal in this business is to create unique and sustainable art that showcases natural beauty and gives new life to the material it is made from, while encouraging others to see the value and stories crafted by nature itself.
